Express music!!!!

Today we would like you to show all your creativity, and add your own new words to this fantastic song called "Express Yourself".  Maybe you could add a new verse, or a new chorus, or make up your own set of words to explain how you would like to express yourself.  Watch the video...and play it loud!  What words would you like to add to show how YOU want to express your feelings, your thoughts, your emotions?  Don't forget to send us your words...we can't wait to see your ideas.  If you'd like to...make a recording of yourself singing the song with your own words...JUST GO FOR IT!

Emotions Masks

Today for our Children's Mental Health Week activity, we would like you to think about the different emotions we feel in different situations?  When and where do feel happiest, or most safe?  When do you feel afraid, or anxious?  Are there certain places or situations that can trigger powerful emotions for you>

We'd like you to try, if possible, to discuss this with someone else, someone who you feel comfortable talking openly with.

The activity we'd like you to complete and share with us is the "Emotions Mask" sheet, where you can draw on the masks to show 2 different, contrasting emotions.  You can use coloured pencils, paints, crayons..whatever you prefer, and if you want to add some writing to explain the emotions, then please do! Don't forget to send us pictures of your work...we can't wait to see your ideas!  Good luck everyone!!
