It has been a great start to our new year, and the children are already impressing us with their super attitude to learning.
Here are a couple of important reminders:
On Tuesday 17th September, Year 4 went to Foxton Locks for a day of scientific and historical discovery. We were lucky to enjoy such a beautiful sunny day, and we were able to complete a range of different activities. We found out about different habitats, and when we went pond-dipping we found a very interesting selection of creatures in their natural water habitat. We found out about family life for people who used to live on the canals, and we helped to open and close the lock gates. Our afternoon boat trip gave us more opportunities to spot a wide range of animals and plants in their habitats.
