PE Kit

PE will be on Tuesday and Thursday every week. Your child will need:-

shorts (blue or black), a T-shirt and plimsolls.

Water bottles

Every child should have a named water bottle - the throw away ones are the best as they do not leak and are easy to fill and clean. Children are only allowed water at school.

Reading and Reading miles

Please read with your child at home every day.  Reading just 10 minutes with your child everyday will help them to progress with their reading. Reading books are changed every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, please put your book bag in the book bag box. When your child reads with you please complete their reading mile. When your reading mile is full give it to an adult in class so that you can receive a mile sticker to put on the class chart.

Spellings are given out every Friday. Please practise these as much as you can during the week. Children are familiar with using the Look, Cover, Write and Check method when practising our spellings. Our spelling test takes place on a Friday. Children also need to regularly practise the High Frequency words in the front of their homework book.

Homework needs to be handed in on a Wednesday and will be given back on a Friday. Children will need to pick homework from the grid to do. When you complete the chosen homework activity please tick it on the menu.
