F2 GT

Welcome to F2GT's page! 

Information

School begins at 8.45 am every day. The register is taken at 9.00 am.

School finishes at 3.15 pm

Children should attend wearing an appropriate school uniform every day. All uniform needs to be named.

Should you arrive late please ensure that your child is signed in at the office.

PE

PE is on Tuesday. Your child will need:-

shorts (blue or black), a T shirt and plimsolls.

 

Reading 

You can change your child's reading book on a Wednesday and Library book on a Friday. Please listen to your child read every day.  You can record whatever they read on their reading challenge card to help them to build up reading miles.

Please help your child to practise their sight words every day. Cut them up and practice them in different orders.

The school subscribes to a reading website. The link is below. Your child has log in details. If you have any problems please speak to Miss Trivett or Mrs Grout.

 

Water bottles 

Water bottles - every child should have a named water bottle and filled only with water please.

 

                                                                                                                                                            

Beaumanor Hall

We had a great day at Beaumanor Hall. We went on a trail to find the Gruffalo and found lots of animal tracks on the way. Then we made our own dens in the woods and climbed the trees. After that we found some lost animals and had a tea party for them. Some children drew their own maps to show where they were going to look.

We also made some natural art with twigs, logs, branches and stones before having well-earned rest on the coach back to school!

Making witch's hats!

F2 have been learning how to keep our teeth healthy. We are doing an experiment to find out what effect different drinks have on our teeth.

Which one is your favourite?
