Times Tables!

As you may already be aware, children by the end of year four, are expected to know their Times Tables up to and possibly beyond 12!

Start off with at least 5 minutes a day, which adds up to over half an hour in a week!

Here are some websites that you could use to help you practice:

http://www.topmarks.co.uk/maths-games/7-11-years/times-tables

http://www.crickweb.co.uk/ks2numeracy-multiplication.html

http://www.bbc.co.uk/skillswise/game/ma13tabl-game-tables-grid-find

Remember: if you know 6 x 5 = 30  then you also know 60 x 5 = 300 and 60 x 50 = 3000

Spring Term Homework
Over the past week, we have worked hard on the language used in persuasive leaflets. Since the homework is similar, here are some pictures of the steps we took to reach the final product. Furthermore, we focused on the Year 5 writing expectations so here is also a picture of some of the expectations that you can refer to when you write up your leaflet!

Recently, Google Expeditions came to visit us. Using Google Cardboards we were transported to Africa with 360 degree view. We got to see the gorgeous scenery and the spectacular animals that live in Africa. This tied in brilliantly with our current !
