All of a sudden, the alarm sounded as a volcano had erupted in the playground! 3G went out to investigate further.

A volcanic eruption at Fosse Primary School!

This week we sorted multiples in maths in to a Venn diagram.

Thank you to all parents who made a contribution towards our Roman day. The children had a great day!

This week we have been looking at shape in maths. To end the week, the children made 3D shapes using different materials.

Our Investigation

Still image for this video
In our Funny Bones Topic this week we have been investigating if the tallest children will jump the furthest. We did many tests and recorded lots of data but found out that for our children, it doesn't matter how tall you are, it's how good at jumping you are!

Thank you to everybody who attended our class assembly!

We have been working very hard this week. We have been celebrating Black History this week and so in art we have been drawing pictures of Jazz and Blues musical instruments with pastels.

In maths we have been working with a new physical resource called Carrbars. We have had lots of fun finding out what we can use Carrbars for to help us with our learning.

The children have been working very hard in groups to order a Roman timeline in Topic.

Times Tables:

We have restarted our Times Tables race across Key Stage 2.

Please help your children to practise and learn their times tables.

Not only will it help them with their learning in maths, but if the class

come first in the race we are allowed a special prize which the

children will choose!
